Amendment 12

The 12th Amendment changed how the President and Vice President are elected by requiring electors to vote for them separately instead of as one pair. This was created after problems in earlier elections showed that the original system could cause confusion and disagreements. I think this amendment is important because it helps make elections more organized and fairer. It also helps prevent ties and makes sure each position is filled by someone clearly chosen for that role, which keeps the government running more smoothly.
